Pre-Register

At Avant Garde Montessori School, we offer a year-round, individualized learning program, allowing children to begin their Montessori journey when the time is right for them. Because each child is unique, our admissions process is designed to help families thoughtfully explore whether Avant Garde Montessori is the right fit for their child’s developmental needs and learning style.

1. Schedule a School Tour
We invite you to begin with a personal tour of our school. During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Observe the classroom during the morning Montessori work cycle
• See children engaged in purposeful, self-directed activity
• Learn about the Montessori method and how it supports whole-child development
• Receive an information packet, which includes our Enrollment Application

This visit allows families to experience the peaceful, prepared environment that defines Montessori education.

2. Submit an Application
After your tour, if you feel Avant Garde Montessori is the right fit for your family, we invite you to:

• Complete the Registration Application
• Submit it along with the non-refundable registration fee

Once received, your child will be considered officially registered. Enrollment is based on availability; if no space is available at the time, your child will be placed on our waiting list, and you will be contacted as openings occur.

3. Discovery Day (Ages 3–6)
For children enrolling in our Early Childhood Program (ages 3–6), we schedule a Discovery Day shortly after registration and before the child’s first full day of school.

• This is a 40-minute classroom visit during the morning work period
• The child is gently introduced to the environment by the classroom guide
• The guide will observe the child’s readiness and offer a few developmentally appropriate materials

This experience supports a smooth transition and helps the teacher begin building a trusting relationship with your child.

Year-Round Enrollment

Because we follow an individualized approach to learning, children may enroll at any time during the year, as space allows. We welcome new families year-round and strive to make the onboarding process smooth and supportive.
